Tom believes in giving access to therapy to communities that helped him while he was growing up. He has put together two groups at no cost in for communities that desperately need therapy but cannot afford the astronomical prices.

Asian Mental Health Collective

This free 8-week support group looks to support Asian Americans, faciliated by Tom Liu, LCSW, PSEP. Starting on September 1, the sessions will each last for 90 minutes, and meet every Wednesday.

Group topics will be determined by group members, and can include topics such as interpersonal conflict, relocation issues, Asian American issues, shame/bullying/ridicule, or boundary issues. This group will focus on how to get “unstuck” using mental, emotional, behavioral and somatic techniques.

Virtual Substance Abuse Group Therapy Facilitated by Tom Liu, LCSW, PSEP

Virtual Substance Abuse Group

This free support group looks to provide encouragement and understanding to all of its members. We’ll be looking at the holistic perspective of working with the mind, emotions, and body. This approach is based on Somatic Experiencing, a 45-year old body-oriented approach to healing that combines physiology, psychology, biology, neuroscience, and ancient Chinese healing practices.

Group topics will be determined by group members, and can include topics such as interpersonal conflict, triggers, staying clean, relationship issues, fun in recovery, dating while clean, and living a good life.
